Located in the historic Freemason district in Norfolk, Virginia, this home is one of the region's finest examples of the Greek Revival style. Years after being placed on the National Historic Register, the Kenmure House had fallen into disrepair and been partitioned into commercial spaces.

The restoration project, currently active, will restore the 8,000-sf house back to its original quality while concealing newly-added modern conveniences and systems. The restoration will meet all the stringent requirements for additions to historic landmarks.

A modern kitchen and bath are being added to the rear of the home and will be treated as a carriage house with large openings and glazing, affording light and views into the rear walled gardens.
