K-12

We take pride in being among the thought leaders for K-12 school design. Whether it’s designing for active learning environments, 21^st Century Schools and skills, CPTED and school safety, or sustainability and outdoor learning spaces, our approach is to place students in the best environments with the most opportunity to learn. Knowing these students will become our future, we work to inspire creativity and collaboration, designing with flexibility for diverse modes of learning, and learning spaces that reflect the skills needed in the 21^st century.

In both public and private schools, we understand the importance of, and regularly lead design workshops and community engagement. We seek  meaningful, consensus building, and integrated design to better engage stakeholders and provide thoughtful stewardship of our schools for future learners. Our K-12 work includes pre-design studies and planning, renovations and additions, new schools, and the design of school administration, transportation, food service, and maintenance facilities in support of these learning spaces. With over 35 years of K-12 experience, we draw on this working knowledge to uplift education, learning environments, and reinforce the connection of our communities to our schools.
